This is one of my reading  task from this week. I will tell you what we had to do to make this.

The title of the book is POWER FROM THE SUN
1. had to read the book to understand the questions.
2.write the answers down.
3.celebrate that you're finished the task.
my reflection is. I enjoyed that the school has energy detectives.
I found challenging was some words in the book was hard for example. Hydroelectric power
I learnt that Hydroelectric power is a hard word to read.

My favorite part of this art was coloring in the drawing.
I will improve on my art by cleaning my hands after each pastel color so it doesn't smudge.
I think I blended my background really well.

kiwi can

My first kiwi can was TODAY!!!!!
so it was good being back at kiwi can I enjoyed seeing shale
but that other one was not there because she was sick so that was a bummer
and m'r Metzger put me in the girl line so that was embarrassing. But what i did was sneak back into the boys line (hehehe)
But when that was done shale came in to do some games
i found interesting that the game we where playing was impossible


I learnt that some games are impossible and some games are really easy.

math task from this week

W.A.L.T upload our math task and write about them.

This is my math book. We had to do a decimal number sorting largest to smallest. We were given three decimal numbers in a random order and then we had to rewrite them in the correct order. Hope you enjoy my blog post.










What I enjoyed about doing this was that it was not that hard for me, I can often get things wrong so I was impressed with myself when I got them correct.

What do you think i should improve on?   
To improve this blog post I need to add more commas rather than fullstops. 

What I found interesting was. How some of the decimals were big and some of the decimals were small.

this is my reading book. if you click the reading book you can see what is but i'm going to say what it is anyway it is a where i put all of my reading stuff.
i use it because if I did not have it I will have no where to put my stuff.

a magic school

chapter one the secrets of the hall
3 young kids 9 or 10 got on the bus to school, one of the kids names was James, James was a funny kid he was that one kid who would make everyone laugh. The second kids was Rusty, Rusty was the athletic kid and the last kid was Lisa, Lisa was a girl who was smart all the time. So James and Rusty needed her a lot. On the bus they were talking about school and what they where going to learn from miss hall, as they were talking they didn't notice that they were at school already. James ,Rusty and Lisa  tried to get off the bus they where stopped by the driver. The bus driver said give me one minute, James, Rusty and Lisa were all confused by what the bus driver said. then the bus driver opened the door quickly, Lisa being the smart one was walking up to the bus driver and to her shock the bus driver had gone!, Lisa quickly told the group what had happened. Rusty said "i can chase after him" but no the bus driver had gone. Lisa said "why don't we just get of the bus" good idea James said" as they got of the bus. And started to walk there class room James Rusty and Lisa all had the same room. Room 6. They got into there room and as miss hall said to all those 3 "where have you been!" it was already half of school as Rusty said"the bus driver he left us on the bus" miss hall did not except their excuse. She was a mean teacher but none of the other teachers notice that who mean she was. James Rusty and Lisa all know that she had used a spell of them to not notice her at all! the spell was called (expectom none)
Lisa knows the spell she used. Because she was in the teachers lounge when miss hall used the spell.
But she did not use the spell on the kids because that spell was to dangerous to use on young children. 
After miss hall was done yelling at them ding ding ding the bell for lunch went of miss hall said" of you go then" all 3 of them went out to go to lunch. As all 3 of them sat down Rusty and Lisa was eating but not James he was more concerned about miss hall and her spell Lisa had never told James and Rusty before so that a shock for both of them. all so James knows about the secrets of the hall and how so many people had died for it. As he was talking to Lisa ding ding ding the bell to play but James didn't what to play he wanted to go into the hall and see for himself what was in there all 3 where walking down the path way and down down down until this man shows up and says"don't go down mush more kids it might be your last move you do. the man was old and his face was covered in scars and he was bold on the top of his head and just a bit on the sides. And  the top of his head was recent scratches. James asked"how did you get that much scars on your head" and the man replied" from in there". His voice was quite cracked with a deep hint of DEATH. James and Lisa was scared not Rusty being the strong one. As the man walked of he whispered" I'm warning you"only James heard this. But all 3 was  concerned about him. as they walked down to the hall then noticed a rotten smell that put them off 
Chapter 2 the mysteries of the Stone
But they ignored it but they got closer and closer they could smell it getting worse and worse but they did not think that it was going to get this bad.

CANCEL THE INVASION
This book is about an alien-Ash who can not understand human language and he is trying to communicate to kids who hit him in the head with a baseball ( I bet that hurt) but they did not do it on purpose.


This is my opinion on cancel the invasion.
I loved the quality of the book and the pictures.
The artist of the book is really good at his job
and my favourite part was when Ash thought that they were vampires
and the author can improve by ask your audience a question at the end of the book.

Today we read a book called 'Cancel the Invasion'. When we finished the book we had to do a word search. I did mine on paper, instead of on my device because on the chromebook it was to hard to see. I think doing it on paper was a good idea. Here's my word search that I did (I did not finish it

cancel the invasion storyboard

Today we read cancel the invasion by David Larson. After we read it we had to start our writing task and create a storyboard (and that is what you see up here)
it was about the main ideas of the book.
-setting (the park)
-characters (ash-alien wizard 3 young kids)
-ideas at the beginning(I bet it was sore when ash got hit in the head with the Bat )
-ideas at the middle (when ash can not understand human language it was funny to me)
-ideas at the end( the end was cool how that wizard turned into a eagle that was my favourite Part)

Fela is about to land on the Moon this is a very dangerous mission but fela has to do it to collect important data. They put fela into space to collect data to know what the space duck was like.

However they  did not expect a bounce on the space duck they thought the space  duck was soft. Not bouncy the bounce lasted a hour or two. very disappointing
