Today at kiwi can we did a game called stop walk clap jump and this is how it works. If the teacher says jump you jump so on and so on. the next game we played was traffic lights what you have to do is stop is stop go is go and go slow is go slow.

This is our catchphrase right is right even when everyone is doing it wrong is wrong even when no one's doing it.

what did you enjoy: doing the games.

writing task from last week

WALT upload a writing task from last week 

Last week we did a writing task about an elephant and a crying baby. This is the sentence that I did, 

the first one is the elephant. The tired elephant was one minute from death, the grime reaper was getting ready for one more soul... 

now for the crying baby. The crying baby struggled to get up as he had just bee born.

We also had to glue in a picture and then write about it.

Film Group

I am apart of the filming group. it's some kids or people that do lots of filming. And when they are done with the film it goes to a movie for you to watch. the film must include, a begging/middle/end/ that's how you win a prize  that's what I think. we had to do a plan that's how we know what to do get a script and then we get to filming.

Today for writing, we chose an item to describe using our senses - taste/smell/look/sound/feel. I choose to describe a dog. I filled in all of the columns. Here it is below:

What did you enjoy? that you can choose anything not what miss tells you to do.

What could I improve on? adding more words into the box.

Matariki star art work

last week the whole class did a matariki artwork and this is how we did it

1. Trace 2 stars on a A3 paper
2. Fill in your star with moari patterns colour in your star
3. Cut out the stars and glue thm on top of one an other
4. Get a A3 black peace of paper and glue your star on to the black peace of paper
 5. Cut out the black peace of paper just around it
6. Then you are DONE

W.A.L.T write about kiwi can

Today was kiwi can. after the holidays so what we did first was say our names because some new kids where in tui. after we said all of our names we did the new catchphrase that was. right is right even when no one is doing it wrong is wrong even when everyone is doing it. after the catchphrase we played master tag. this is how the game goes
1. everyone is in
2. if you tag someone at the same time you play rock paper scissors
3. if someone tags you not at the same time then you sit down until they get tag not at the same time can you get to stand up and tag more people.

Yesterday at school we did a scratch art and this is how we did it.

1. we had to colour it in with lots and lots of colour.

2.paint over it with black paint.

3. scratch our animal with a barbecue stick or back of a spoon.

this was fun doing the art and enjoyed drawing my wolf here it is all done.
